Where else to watch the sun set over the Grand Canyon than from the El Tovar Lounge. We found a nice table right in front of the plate glass window and watched it lower down over the horizon. Today it wasn’t so colorful, but of course, ot was pretty. We shared a plate of cheese and crackers and sipped our drinks. Bill had been dying to try Prickly Pear Margaritas, which he did tonight. They taste like spiced pear. Yummy!

We enjoyed a delicious and filling meal in the restaurant. Bill had bison William and Nanette were both very talkative, reliving memories of our day today. Off to bed – too late – but satisfied.
